What we collect, what we don't, and why there's so little to say.
This is a static website. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, and no advertising trackers. We collect almost nothing — and everything that passes through is listed below, plainly.
SpinWave is the database and storage layer of Glenride, an independent think tank. This policy covers spinwave.tech (“the site”).
Practically nothing. The site is static pages served by Cloudflare Pages.
Two things leave your browser when you visit:
1. Fonts. The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives a routine font request — the way it does on millions of sites. That is the only third party embedded in these pages.
2. Chain reads. The live status indicators and the wallet button talk directly to a public Base RPC endpoint from your own browser — the same way any wallet or block explorer works. The RPC node sees your request the way BaseScan would.
Our host, Cloudflare, processes routine security data (such as IP addresses) to protect the site from abuse. We do not see, store, or use that data.
The “notify me” email form on the landing page is not connected yet. Anything you type into it goes nowhere — the page tells you so, and the input is discarded. When the list is wired up, this policy will be updated before a single address is kept, and it will say exactly where addresses go and how to leave the list.
Connecting a wallet never sends us your keys, seed phrase, or balances. The standing check reads only your public address, in your own browser, to see your STANZA position. We never see it leave your machine.
We set no cookies of our own — there is nothing to log into and nothing to remember you by. Cloudflare may set short-lived security cookies to tell humans from bots. Google Fonts does not use cookies to serve typefaces.
No analytics, fingerprinting, or advertising trackers.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data — there is nothing to sell.
We do not build profiles of visitors.
We retain nothing, because we collect nothing. If the notify list or scholar accounts ever change that, this section will say exactly what is kept, for how long, and why — before it happens.
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect nothing from anyone. Interacting with the STANZA token or a wallet requires you to be at least 18 (see the Terms of Service).
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing to request, correct, or delete. If that changes, this section will explain how to reach us and what to expect — and the change will be dated below.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes — anything that means we start collecting something we didn’t before — will be called out on the site, not buried.
Questions about this policy: write to the Glenride team through the contact page at dvaughnhouse.com. We answer plainly, the same way this page is written.
